HypertroFit LLC operates HypertroFit, GymSmith, home gym consulting, online coaching, training and nutrition content, and related services. You can contact us at kyle@hypertrofit.com.

What This Policy Covers

This policy covers information collected through hypertrofit.com, GymSmith-related pages and handoffs, strategy-session questionnaires, contact and newsletter forms, consulting and coaching workflows, affiliate redirects, analytics, embedded content, and internal YouTube article automation.

Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including:

• Name, email address, phone number, messages, notes, and support requests.
• Strategy-session answers about coaching, training, nutrition, home gym goals, equipment, room size, budget, readiness, and workout location.
• Voluntary health, fitness, nutrition, pectus excavatum, surgery-history, injury, age, gender, and training-experience context.
• Home gym photos, dimensions, equipment lists, shared GymSmith links, and other files or context you submit for consulting.
• Newsletter signup details and communication preferences.
• Calendly booking information, such as scheduled time, name, email, phone, and event details.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, including:

• IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referral source, and approximate interaction data.
• Analytics events, such as page views, outbound links, GymSmith handoffs, affiliate clicks, and Calendly clicks.
• Server logs, security signals, and rate-limit information used to protect the site.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Respond to messages, support requests, consulting inquiries, and coaching inquiries.
• Evaluate whether HypertroFit coaching, nutrition guidance, home gym consulting, or GymSmith is a good fit for your goals.
• Prepare for strategy sessions, consultations, coaching check-ins, and home gym planning conversations.
• Send transactional emails, confirmations, newsletter emails, and follow-up communications.
• Improve the website, GymSmith, content, article workflows, analytics, security, and user experience.
• Measure affiliate, content, and marketing performance without selling your personal information.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, prevent abuse, and protect HypertroFit and users.

Health, Fitness, And Nutrition Context

You may voluntarily submit health, fitness, nutrition, injury, surgery, pectus excavatum, or body-composition information. HypertroFit uses that information to understand your goals and constraints for coaching or consulting. HypertroFit is not a medical provider, does not provide diagnosis or treatment, and is not intended to replace care from a physician, dietitian, physical therapist, or other licensed healthcare professional.

GymSmith Information

GymSmith helps users plan home gyms, compare equipment, map room constraints, and evaluate training coverage. If you use GymSmith or submit a GymSmith shared file link, we may process information such as layout details, room dimensions, equipment lists, account-related details, and usage signals needed to provide, support, improve, or discuss GymSmith.

Public marketing stats for GymSmith are rounded or aggregated. We do not publish personal layout, account, or submitted consulting details as public stats.

Inside the GymSmith app, we use required product metrics sent to PostHog in strict cookieless mode to operate and improve the product, including equipment popularity, aggregate custom-equipment adoption, onboarding setup, shared-link activity, affiliate/product/outbound clicks, model feedback, and anonymous daily browser activity. PostHog estimates that daily activity with a privacy-preserving server hash that does not persist across days. These metrics do not use persistent analytics cookies or browser storage, person profiles, advertising identifiers, session replay, contact information, raw layout JSON, raw notes, health data, raw custom URLs, custom-equipment names, or arbitrary free text. Because these limited metrics are part of operating and improving GymSmith, the app does not show an optional analytics consent prompt.

YouTube API Services

HypertroFit uses YouTube API Services for owned-channel content workflows, including retrieving HypertroFit video metadata, captions, transcript-related data when available, publication dates, video IDs, titles, thumbnails, and source links so videos can be turned into article drafts and connected to the related YouTube video.

This use is intended for HypertroFit-owned channel content and internal publishing workflows. It is not intended to access public site visitors' YouTube accounts. If a Google or YouTube authorization is used, you can revoke access through your Google account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

YouTube API Services data is used only for the article and content workflow described here. We do not sell Google user data or use it for unrelated advertising. HypertroFit's use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies, Analytics, And Similar Technologies

The site uses essential cookies and similar storage for security, form protection, privacy choices, and core site behavior. We use PostHog in strict cookieless mode to count page views, form progress and outcomes, affiliate clicks, and GymSmith handoffs. Cookieless analytics does not create a persistent visitor profile, use session replay or automatic click capture, or store an analytics identifier in cookies or browser storage. Events exclude contact details, health notes, free-text intake answers, raw IP addresses, and raw user-agent strings.

Privacy Choices lets you opt out, and we treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out. The preference needed to remember that choice may be stored locally. Because analytics is cookieless, metrics describe anonymous activity and cannot reliably identify one person across different days or devices.

Cloudflare may process traffic and security data as part of hosting and protecting the site. Error monitoring may include Sentry when enabled, including masked replay around errors for debugging reliability issues. Embedded YouTube videos and Calendly scheduling widgets are loaded only after your action or applicable consent. YouTube, Google, and Calendly may process information according to their own terms and policies when you load or interact with those services.

Service Providers And Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the site, provide services, communicate with you, run automations, or comply with legal obligations. Service providers may include Cloudflare, Brevo, Calendly, Zapier, Sentry, Supabase, PostHog or other GymSmith infrastructure, email providers, and YouTube or Google services.

Affiliate links may send you to third-party retailers or platforms. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies. HypertroFit does not control their data practices.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.

Where applicable law treats analytics-related disclosures as a "sale" or "sharing," you can use Privacy Choices to reject analytics. We also treat Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.

Email And Marketing Choices

If you subscribe to emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or contact us directly. Transactional and service-related messages may still be sent when needed to respond to your request, manage bookings, or provide services.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve products, and protect the site. Intake forms, emails, coaching and consulting context, GymSmith support context, and article source packets may be retained while they remain useful for those purposes.

Your Choices And Requests

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information you have provided by emailing kyle@hypertrofit.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, accounting, or legitimate business reasons.

You can open Privacy Choices from the site footer to allow or reject cookieless analytics. Essential cookies that provide security, remember privacy choices, or support requested services remain active.

If you authorized Google or YouTube access, you can revoke that access at Google Account Permissions. You can also contact us to request deletion of YouTube API Services data associated with HypertroFit's article workflow where applicable.

Children And Minors

HypertroFit is not directed to children under 13. Coaching or consulting for minors should involve a parent or legal guardian. Do not submit information about a minor unless you have authority to do so.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, email system, or internet transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as HypertroFit, GymSmith, integrations, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
